This designing method is based on the traditional Seminole patchwork method.
I have developed tonal columns using paper and then fabric, these have become more fragmented as I have worked.

The process of cutting and seaming repeatedly [see working sheet above]. So glad I photographed as I worked as it would have been impossible to appreciate the nature of the changes. Photos show front and back views.
These look super Carrie. I must admit I've kind of hit "embroiderers' block" with this chapter. However, you have inspired me to buckle down again.
